Women’s Cycling Shorts Padded
What could cause a woman’s period to get shorter?
I used to bleed for seven full days, from heavy to dark brown. Now, it’s for 3 or 4 days. I started my cycle on Saturday, March 22nd. As of it yesterday it has died down to almost nothing. When I woke up this morning there was nothing on the pad. But when I stuck a Q-Tip in there to double-check (sorry, TMI but I had to tell this) it was red. I have noticed this for the past year or so.
My periods have changed slowly over the years. Thank goodness …. when I was at school, they were really unreliable and about a week long, then I went on b/c and they stayed pretty regular for 3 years after I got off the pills (both in cycle length and duration of the period itself). Now they’re much shorter than they used to be; medium/light and pain on day one, really super-heavy but painfree on day two, and then really light on day three; almost what I would call ’spotting’. I checked with my OB nurse and she said that most women go through phases of different kinds of periods, much like women have changing hair or skin types during different stage of hormonal development.
